To become a member of the association, you must be 18 years or older. You must be a graduate of an accredited school or accredited by the RITMA Association. All therapists must have obtained a minimum of 1000 hours of education/training, dependant on their chosen profession. It is the student’s responsibility to seek complimentary courses and perfect his/her skills with a recognized school in order to meet RITMA’s standards.
RITMA requires that the therapist possess a diploma in his/her chosen field and must:
CEGEP / College / University graduated and a minimum of 1000 hours* of post graduate education
or a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1,200* hours of study
